Timelapse of my recent figure painting based on a public domain picture (dated somewhere between 1905-1920) from the Library of Congress. There's so many old photographs on their website, ranging from portrait collections to government sponsored photography projects, all mostly in black and white. I've been recreating and embellishing them in my painting practice, mostly experimenting for now. I do have some specific conceptual series in mind, though. On a side note, I think I'll be taking a break from making timelapses for at least a few weeks. I'd rather focus on just painting right now, even if these videos can be a lot of fun! I'll still collect raw footage, but I need a break from video editing. Thanks for watching. Be sure to follow at least one of my social media accounts to see what art I'll be posting (pictures) of soon! If you enjoyed this video, consider buying me a coffee through Ko-Fi. Video editing usually takes me about 2-4 hours, and would be entirely impossible without coffee!
