This original oil painting portrait of a woman in a yellow room was a fun exploration of color and form. I intended for this painting to be a quicker portrait study to try some new techniques, but this painting took about a month to finish as the drying and glazing processes took a while. Overall, the painting is fresh and vibrant, with the yellow tones seeming to glow.
